I recently bought a boss ns-2, because I could not find an isp.. After playing with the boss, I found that it changes my tone
and still leaves a lot of fuzz in the backround. I took the boss back and found an isp. When I took home the isp, I could
not believe how good it worked. It gets rid of all the fuzz and leaves my tone exactly as it would without it. The isp hands
down kicks the boss ns-2's ass.. it was one of the best desicions I made. The isp is the best noise reduction pedal out
there. It doesnt change your tone, and gets rid of all the fuzz. Don't have any doubts about the pedal..
it is definately
100% worth the money.

This is the best noise reduction unit I have ever owned. I play metal and hard rock with the gain set to the max. I use a
Schecter Loomis model and a Jackson DXMB running to the Decimator which then goes straight into the front guitar input
on the head, which is a Line 6 Spider Valve powering a Hartke 4x12 cab. The Loomis 7-string can be quite noisy,
especially with the springs on the Floyd Rose. When muting the strings between playing, the Decimator makes your rig
dead silent. You will have to use a different threshold setting when playing at low volumes vs. live, but no big deal. I could
never turn my Spider Valve past 3 because there was so much feedback and I would compensate by turning the gain
down, which wasn't the tone I wanted to have. I could go on and on, but this thing is the best!

I play at high gain levels most of the time and feedback is no longer a problem with this unit. It's placed at the end of the
effects chain with no problems. This thing works flawless with XTREME little tone change not enough to even matter trust
me.

How I recommend setting it is to put in line with just your guitar. Leave guitar at full volume and amp volume and high gain
channel at level you will be playing and turn knob till feedback is gone and thats ALL. Maybe even back it off a hair as
long as feedback is gone while playing fast stop and go things and your sustain will be completly un-affected even when
bleeding into feedback if desired. Never mind the manual with it just deal with amp hiss or whatever this is good for
feedback suppresion and thats it. My guitar volume is set at idle or full throtle and thats all why kill any of the Seymour
Duncan Jazz pickups ability.

No problems here when changing to less distortion or clean channel the unit stays on all the time as long as its set to kill
just the feedback on high gain channel and thats it.

Strongly recommend getting a power supply as the battery weakens you'll find yourself slightly ajusting it as the night goes
on. If not obtained then use only high quality batteries NOT cheapies and that problem will be greatly minimized trust me.
With that in mind the power supply will pay itself off in no time flat.

You get what you pay for here so go for it all or just settle for anything else cause this is the best bang for the buck out
there. WORKS PERFECT as a feedback destroyer so how many knobs does it need. Feedback here turn knob feedback
gone simple as that right boss. If it works with a high gain tube amp like mine (Carvin V3) then I think you'll be glad you
read this review I hope it helps.
ISP Technologies Decimator G String Noise Reduction Pedal
The Decimator G String is a noise reduction pedal that delivers performance like that of the renowned ISP Decimator
ProRackG. The Decimator G String provides a totally independent channel of sound reduction that can be inserted into
a series effects loop or after a preamp section with the advantage of having the Decimator level detectors track the
guitar signal directly.

With the G String pedal you can set the threshold and no matter what level of noise the Decimator will track perfectly
without any side effects. And the amazing thing is that you can switch from high gain to your clean channel and never
have to switch the Decimator G String off due to the threshold being set too high. It's simply transparent.

The noise reducing pedal has an input to connect a guitar directly and a buffered output signal to feed the front of a
guitar rig directly while providing a separate audio channel of Decimator that can be inserted in the signal chain of any
guitar rig. You can insert any other pedals between the output of the Decimator G String and the input of your guitar
amplifier. This allows the Decimator G String pedal to remove any level of noise you may have even with overdrive
pedals at the front end of the amp.

Decimate your noise problems, whatever they might be. Call or click now to order.
